Jennifer Lopez did a great job of acting along with a strong script that probed into a good topic for thought. The action/mystery was a revealing approach to a somewhat predictable plot but was carried on with such intensity and emotion that it made tears from the audience. I really enjoyed what became a romantic movie that held substantive quality above simplified action thrills and special effects to deal with family relationships and the horror of loss and the liberation of love.Something I didn't know existed - Poet
Never in my life did I ever think I could see a movie involving Jennifer Lopez that was actually good. I picked up this particular title at the library for free. I was in a hurry and I thought I'd give it a chance. My wife was on the computer while I watched it and even she got pulled in, which is very rare when it comes to movies.
All in all, a very sweet story that surprised me. I was deeply moved and touched by this one, despite J-Lo.Great movie - justme_1012
I absolutely loved this movie. J-Lo is not one of my favorite actresses, but this film was referred. So I rented it. Yes, after reading the description I was expecting more cop action, but I much prefered what came out of it. There was lots of places that made you smile, and there were some tear jerker scenes. It could pass as a chick flick, because there is lots of romance and emotional scenes, but I think guys could enjoy it too. I give the movie 2 thumbs up...I'd watch it over again.
