AntiTrust
"A Clever Paranoid Thriller." -The Wall Street Journal
In a world where unseen enemies can watch your every move, who can you trust? Ryan Phillippe (Cruel Intentions), Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That), Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black) and Oscar® nominee Tim Robbins star in this fast-paced, sizzling thriller that crackles with "genuine intrigue" (Entertainment Today), "considerable suspense" and an "ingenious, stunningly cinematic payoff" (Los Angeles Times) you have to see to believe!
Young, brilliant computer whiz Milo Hoffman (Phillipe) lands an exciting and lucrative job at the world's largest computer company, N.U.R.V. Handpicked by powerful C.E.O. Gary Winston, to work on a project that will change the way the world communicates, Milo thinks he's found his dream job. But when his best friend, Teddy, is brutally murdered and clues lead to N.U.R.V's involvement, Milo becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth. With his cunning and beautiful girlfriend (Forlani) and a sexy programmer (Cook) to help him, Milo races to beat Teddy's murderers at their own cyber game. But as they close in on him, he realizes he may be too late to learn the most important code of all: Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer. And know which are which before you are killed.

A good technoogy thriller - thenewguy
AntiTrust is a film very loosely based around the allegations made against real world company Microsoft, that the company had a monopoly and was maintaining that market control via illegal means.
In the movie, young hacker genius Milo is recruited by Nerv, a large tech company under investigation for monopoly abuse. Milo sees this as his dream job and goes to work on one of Nerv's biggest projects. Things start to take a wrong turn though as Milo discovers computer code is entering the project that might not have been developed by Nerv employees. And Milo sets out to discover the truth.
The film does an excellent job, technically, in that many of the screens displayed, the terms used and the technology talked about are accurate for the time. The cast and acting are good, Tim Robbins does an excellent job at playing a tech company CEO.
The movie does get a bit over the top toward the end, trading realism for drama, but otherwise it's a really well done film. Well worth watching, especially for people interested in the IT industry.Antitrust - AppsScraps
Antitrust requires us to suspend reality and believe the next big computer breakthrough rests with a fresh-from-high-school-tech-geek Ryan Philippe (as Milo) recruited to work for Tim Robbins (as the Bill Gates-like bad guy, Gary Winston). This thriller is directed by Peter Howitt and it starts strong and get the viewer hooked before crashing - so to speak - as it morphs from being a War Games-like thriller (without the social commentary edge) to a Mission Impossible escapade and a woefully bad one at at. When Rachel Leigh Cook, who stars as Milo's conniving girlfriend with a secret life Lisa, adds her twist to the story half way through, we're beyond really caring what happens but like a computer stuck with a virus, we sit and watch it in befuddled awe till the screen goes black. Thankfully black.
For giving us 2 hours of blatantly anit-Microsoft bashing posing as a film, my rating 5 out of 10.Antitrust - Mac3
Even though the plot is somewhat a cliche making this thriller quite predictable and the main caracters aren't great actors. It is still quite an enjoyable movie as long as one isn't expecting wonderful suspence or a great piece of cinematography. However overdone I still quite enjoyed the concept behind the film even if it is somewhat unrealistic.
