Phileas Fogg (Pierce Brosnan) prides himself on being like clockwork. Like a shadow, detective Wilbur Fix (Peter Ustinov) follows Fogg and Passepartout, even becoming a traveling companion. Fogg is the prime suspect in a bank robbery, and Fix wants the reward money! An unforeseen responsibility falls into Fogg's lap when he rescues the beautiful Princess Aouda (Julia Nickson).
