Mostly worth it for the old school hip hop - eoguy
I have been a fan of hip hop since the late 80's, so I really appreciated the old footage of Kool Moe Dee, Busy Bee, Boogie Down Productions and other artists. I enjoyed listening to what some of the artists had to say but I thought their was too much commentary and not enough footage of the beefing artists. As a long time fan I wanted to see more of the actual battling and concerts uncut and without interuption. If you are a fan of hip hop then you will know who they are talking about and the references that are made, if you are new to hip hop you might not appreciate it as much. Ovrall I enjoyed this DVD but was not blown away. The uncut extra featurette with Supernatural freestyling is a great bonus for fans along with the story of the French Pimps vs Damon Dash.Excellent - Sean1
If you ever wanted to know what was behind the words, or even behind stage at a rap concert between two rivals, start with this film. Who knew 'Roxanne, Roxanne' could create such controversy... and dropping names at the beginning of your game actually COULD get you somewhere... What's Beef.....? Check it out.
