Beverly Hills Cop 3
Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) journeys back to Beverly Hills for a real roller coaster thrill ride at the Wonderworld amusement park! Joined by old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Serge (Bronson Pinchot), Axel becomes the hottest new attraction as he chases down the bad guys on the rides, through the shows and in the underground maze beneath the park. Beverly Hills Cop III is "a wild, funny action comedy" that will have you hooked for the whole ride!

Before I started watching it, I could not remember if I had already seen it but as soon as it began, it all came back to me. This installment is by far the low point of this great series. One would have thought that with John Landis in the director's chair, it should have been another hit. It starts up very well and after the first 15 minutes, one would think that it's going to be very entertaining. Sadly, it goes downhill from there. The storyline is ridiculous and is rather poorly developed. Some comedy bits are good but most are not funny at all. The cast is good but John Ashton and Ronny Cox are sorely missed. The acting job is quite average with a fair dialogue. The bad guys are less interesting than in previous installments. The sets and locations are appropriate, the soundtrack is not up to the high standards set by previous installments and the camera work is professional. Of course if you saw the first two movies you will want to see this one but my guess is, you will be disappointed. Not as good as others. - NYR68
I will say I did enjoy watching this, but it just wasn't that great. Eddie didn't have his typical Eddie one liners that he has in almost all of his movies. Thats why I like Eddie. This movie seemed like a family movie the way they were acting at times. I did like the fact that it was in an amusement park though.
Skip this movie if you're not an Eddie fanNot the Same - Wolfpaw
When I first saw Beverly Hills Cop 1. I thought great music. I thought great acting and of course, great action. It was great way to start the trilogy off.
I then watched Beverly Hills Cop 2. It was even better than the first one. It was action packed with swearing and comments that you would expect from Eddie Murphy. It was a thrill ride of action.
Now I come to Beverly Hills Cop 3. This movie was a disapointment for me. I have been a long time Eddie fan and to see him take an action pack trilogy and turn the last one into something I would call annoying; with the bad music, the change of characters personalities. There was a some laughter and a bit of action but this was no way to end it.
