Big Momma's House
Martin Lawrence is crafty FBI agent Malcolm Turner - who's willing to go through thick and thin in order to catch an escaped federal prisoner. "Nia Long is Sherry, the con's sexy former flame - she might have the skinny on millions in stolen bank loot, and she's headed for Georgia to lay low for a while. That's enough to send Malcolm deep undercover as Big Momma, an oversized, overbearing Southern granny with an attitude as tough as her pork chops. The result is a genuinely clever comedy caper of epic proportions, filled with nonstop laughs and tons of fun!

Okay from the start this movie was bad and only got worse!! How the heck did Martin Lawrence ever make so many of these movies??? What the heck were people thinking when they made this movie let alone the next ones???? Please if you have not seen this movie and are contemplating it, save yourself the 2 hours of agony and just go watch the grass grow instead! A lot more entertainment there!!Not bad - Radio_Jane
There is nothing particularly special about this film. It is another one of those cookie cutter gross out comedies that are popular nowadays. What makes it even remotely worthwile is that Martin Lawrence is actually fairly talented, unlike so many people that seem to be getting leading roles nowadays. He has a flair for the physical comedy that is rarely seen. This is not a family film by far, but it is kind of funny.Wast of time - J3--
What can I say about bout this movie that isn’t negative. I guess the best part is the end. Not how it ends but just that it does eventually end.
I was shocked to learn that Big Momma’s House 2 will be out shortly. I am guessing it will be direct to video though.
This movie was not very entertaining and not particularly funny. If you are Martin Lawrence’s biggest fan you may possibly enjoy this, otherwise its 98 minutes you will never get back in your life.
