Bird on a Wire
Hiding under the FBI witness relocation program, Rick Jarmin (Mel Gibson) gets nervous when old flame Marianne Graves (Goldie Hawn) recognizes him. But before he can assume a new identity, the man he put in jail (David Carradine) is released and comes to pay his respects. Rick and Marianne find themselves thrown together on an exhilarating cross-country scramble, barely evading the gangsters, police and an amorous veterinarian (Joan Severance). Directed by John Badham.

This is a classic with a great team. It has suspense and comedy. The chemistry shines through, making you not want to see the movie end. Mel is magnificent and Goldie is golden. The action and plot are somewhat predictable but you should watch it to bring you up!great movie - Pumon
I love love love this movie. I think it was my mom that introduced me to the genius that is Goldie Hawn. It is one of the little known comic gems that everyone should watch. It suprises me that this movie is not more popular than it is. A true hidden gem, i strongly recommend watchingBird on a Wire - Rozalynd_the_Red
Goldie & Mel make an unlikely partnership in this script. It was nice to see Goldie with an attractive and fit actor with a sense of humour.
They both have excellent timing and don't seem to up stage each other.
I would definitely love to see them paired up again in another action/comedy film.
