Born Romantic
Three young men - each cursed with two left feet - find that the right steps to salsa dancing can lead to love in this hilarious romantic film - "a feel good date movie in the Four Weddings mold" (Uncut)! Starring Craig Ferguson (The Drew Carey Show), Ian Hart (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone), Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous), Adrian Lester, Catherine McCormack, Jimi Mistry, David Morrisey, and Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense), Born Romantic will take you for a dizzying spin through three quirky courtships - and leave you "smiling and believing that love really can conquer all' (Good Housekeeping)!
A certified lounge lothario seeks to heat things up with an art historian who's cooled on the idea of love. A failed musician wants to strum the right chord with the bride he jilted years earlier. And a dyslexic mugger with a chloroform-doused cloth finds himself knocked out by a pretty grave attendant. They've got their work cut out for them. And yet, at a local club pulsating with the hot sounds of salsa music, any one of these three could find the answer to his romantic quandary... if they can only find the rhythm in time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this quirky, funny comedy with heart. Its background surround is a Salsa Studio where couples intertwine with each other in an effort to connect and search for love. The characters, both male and female, are jaded and yet, are still making the effort to dance their way into love. The dance hall keeps hope alive!
The dialogue is soooo clever and witty. There's never a dull moment either in action or in words. I'm a big fan of Craig Ferguson and when he sings a lovely tune to his sweetheart played by Olivia Williams, visions of crooners past clouded my view and I started to swoon. I can almost hear Leonard Cohen hoarse-whispering 'Dance Me To the End of Love'.great date flic - malice
if you liked shall we dance, you should like smaller buget independent film as well.
charming character study of a bunch of hopeless characters, all centered on dance studio. as usual uplifting ending with lots of dancing.
well acted and british accents not too distracting.
