The storyline is good, but a bit predictable. The use of the metaphor of falling in love with hip hop to them falling in love with each other is effective.

This is a really a great movie, I recommend this film highly to those, especially if you like African American movies. I am a big hip hop fan so I had an understanding as to what the movie was about, where it was heading and ultimate message it delivered. Great Movie. Cute, based on 2 people who grew up together In the bronx and fall in love. It's really sweet. It's a Metaphoracal movie that emphasis on HIP-HOP to love. Queen Lateifa Makes a camio as the up beat and supportive friend to both characters. (Taye Diggs and Sanaa Lathan) are both made for this romantic coming of age comedy.The true downside to this movie is the end... it could have been less corny. But it kept my attention.
