fun 90's flashback - Pumon
jim carrey has the power to be the master of the universe. This is an oldie but a goodie, this is quite fun. There is lots of laughs and some fun. Jennifer Aniston plays his wife. OK, now ive had about enough reviews about this movie from people who are saying it is going against God, or Christianity. I myself am a Christian, and I happen to see this movie with members from my church and my pastor (yes, we watch movies, yes, outside church). We all had a good laugh. This movie has nothing about God, or anything like that in it. Its all about one guy who gets his power for a few days. Its a great movie, and even good for the family (well, not too young). Carrey is finally starting to get back into some really good stuff. After the mid 90s, Carrye seemed to really have a dead point in his carreer, and many big fans like myself were almost ready to accept that he is finished in is carreer. Well after watching this, let me assure you this is as far from teh truth as it can be. This is Carrey at his best, and yes, like a fine wine, he gets better with Age. This movie is a great comedy and a concept that I havent seen befor. Deffinitly check it out.Entertainment! - Quadcats
Despite the simple message of this movie, its more about having a few laughs and being entertained. Jim Carrey has his usual "slapstick" humour with his voices and facial expressions, but besides this there are some very comical lines and images in this movie. Take the movie for what it is, a light fairytale type movie that relies on the viewers not caring too much for the unrealistic plot line but to be entertained. The underlying messages that we are receiving are not necessarily the thoughts expressed or comprehended by the viewers! Just enjoy this movie for what it is, a light comedy.
