Geek decides to create his own summer camp, so enlists local man of a million faces to portray the camp of each parents dreams.
Until all the parents start showing up and they have to hide the fact this isnt a real camp at all.
Not very funny and pretty dull stuff. The Good Old Days - FilmJunkie
A bunch of kids decide to trick their parents into sending them to a summer camp that doesn't exist. They get an adult (Christopher Lloyd) to act as a pawn in their plan and run the ideal camp for themselves.
This film is full of young actors we thought were gonna be huge back in the day (Andrew Keegan, anyone? Jonathan Jackson, where you at?) and some tiny roles by Jessica Alba and 'Smallville's Allison Mack, who knew?
I loved it as a kid and though it hasn't aged too well, it is still fun and it takes me back to a time when a bunch of kids running their own lives sounded like fun instead of a scary thought.Lame Fare - Jo4-
For Christopher Lloyd fans, this might be an acceptable way to spend an hour or two. The concept was okay but it just didn't take off. Our nine year old granddaughter was bored 3/4 of the way through and so were we. The moral of the story (probably) was that kids need authority to define themselves, but it just didn't work. We didn't even bother with the last 10 minutes.
