Car 54, Where Are You?
An arrestingly funny comedy!
David Johansen ("Oz") and John C. McGinley ("Scrubs") are joined by Fran Drescher, Rosie O'Donnell, Daniel Baldwin, Jeremy Piven and original TV series regulars Nipsey Russell and Al Lewis in this laugh-a-minute Coney Island ride that doesn't let up!
Bumbling Brooklyn beat cop Gunther Toody (Johansen) and his inept, by-the-book partner Francis Muldoon (McGinley) must keep a Mafia Kingpin's (Baldwin) mitts off a stoolie (Piven) scheduled to testify against him. To do this, they break him from jail and stow him in the trunk of Toody's car. But when the car goes missing, the clues lead Toody and Muldoon to Coney Island for the showdown of their lives!

What a mistake! - ShawnConnery
20 minutes of this was all I could take before I took it out of the DVD player and placed it in the return envelope. This must be one of the unfunniest comedies I've seen in a long time. The jokes seem like they were written by an 8 year old, and the bad jokes seem to be complemented by a lot of yelling and screaming. The character Toody, on the right on the cover, has one of the most annoying voices I have ever heard. This is nothing like The Naked Gun series or any other actually funny police comedy.vSpare yourselves.
