Casual Sex?
Who says having sex isn't a laughing matter? Certainly not the ready-for-anything Stacy (Lea Thompson) or her somewhat repressed friend Melissa (Victoria Jackson).
Determined to develop a meaningful relationship with a man who's not afraid to make a commitment, the girls take a vacation at a plush health resort. With high hopes, Stacy and Melissa embark on their quest to track down the Perfect Man. But unfortunately, the men they encounter seem to wilt at the thought of anything more than... Casual Sex. The result is a hilariously perceptive comedy that offers a lighter look at what happens in the dark.

This is both a light comedy, and a light romance, but, ... it's not that funny, and it's not that romantic.
The plot is light - two best friends and their misadventures in love and sex. It has a sort of goofy sitcom feel to it. Kind of like Three's Company, without the physical humour. There's some chuckles, but no big laughs.
Lea Thompson was sort of the Sandra Bullock of the 80s; she had that girl next door likeability thing going. Victoria Jackson plays her usual ditsy good girl.
Andrew Dice Clay was never my cup of tea, and he has a pretty big role in the film. This is certainly Clay light, strictly PG, but he still kind of annoyed me. And he's just not sexy to my eye.
As a child of the 80s, it's always a little fun for me to revisit these movies, but I can't really recommend this. Maybe check it out if it comes on TV.
