Chris Rock: Bigger And Blacker
"The Funniest Man In America." - Time
Following the Emmy winning success of "Bring The Pain", feature film stardom in movies like "Lethal Weapon 4" and coast-to-coast acclaim for his hit TV series "The Chris Rock Show" a 1999 Emmy Award Winner, America's hottest comic Chris Rock keeps it real, loose and live from the Apollo Theatre in New York with Chris Rock: Bigger & Blacker.
It's "a wickedly original, brutally honest hour of sheer observational brilliance" said Variety. "This is rapid-fire, intelligent stand-up of the highest order. Forget bigger or blacker - Chris Rock is simply the better" said Rolling Stone.
Be there, front and center, as Chris Rock takes on fidelity - "A man is basically as faithful as his options"; racism - "The most racist people in the world? Old black men!"; deception - "Men lie so much, it's damn near a language" - and much, much more.
It's a night of high speed hilarity with Chris Rock fueled, unfettered and at his finest. He's hotter than ever and ready to make the house Rock's!

Chris Rock was the most talented stand-up comedian of the 1990s, and this special bears that out. His classic riffs on race, love, sex, marriage and politics haven't aged a bit in the decade-plus since this special was recorded. The only problem? Some of the most memorable bits have probably been quoted back to you so many times that even if you haven't seen this before, some of the material will be familiar. It doesn't matter. Watch it anyway.Great - sickle
I've watched a couple of Chris Rock's stand ups and this is by far the best.
He has a nice flow from one topic to another, and there was only once where it seemed he kind of dragged on with a subject trying to squeeze every possible laugh out of it - most of the time he's going from topic to topic quickly, which keeps things interesting.
The topics were hard hitting at times, but the more serious they were the funnier he came out of them.Hilarious! - josh2
As always Chris Rock is hilarious. Nothing much to say really except that its really funny and most people would find it funny! It might not be the best of Chris Rocks performances but nonetheless its worth watching. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that the DVD didn't have many bonus features, but its still worth a look.
