Clueless
"Whatever!" Edition
Still as smart and charming as ever, Clueless gets a fresh, sassy makeover for this new "Whatever!" Collector's Edition. Alicia Silverstone sparkles as Cher, the matchmaking 15-year-old Beverly Hills High schooler who has shopping and boys on her mind, but mostly shopping. Also starring Brittany Murphy as a dowdy transfer student, Jeremy Sisto as her potential mate and Paul Rudd as Cher's sensitive "Baldwin" step-brother, Clueless is back to capture the hearts of a whole new generation.

When I watched this movie for the first time I loved it! I still watch it pretty often! It is a classic chick flick/high school movie! I think that this was THE high school movie of the 90's. I used to wish I was like Cher. It is a feel good movie all about personal growth, with some laughs built it!Welcome to the 90s - Filmgal
Today, Clueless is best compared to that other female highschool comedy, Mean Girls. While the clothing and some of the pop culture references are now dated (when was the last time anyone mentioned Luke Perry...in a good way?), the content and fun of the film are still intact.
Clueless has it all- teen drama, a makeover, parties, and romance. Cher (Silverstone) is the classic "blonde" except she's not as clueless as the title might lead you to believe. Clueless is one of the best teen comedies of the 90s, smarter than its followers such as She's All That.
Clueless still seems fresh, funny and entertaining. The bonus features are also a treat featuring then & now cast interviews and a look at the costumes.
If you haven't seen it, or haven't seen it since it came out, it's a fun film to revisit and deserving of a place on your Ziplist. Treat yourself to a "Best Teen Comedies of the Past Three Decades" with Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Mean Girls. As if! - cathyottawa
The 70s had American Graffiti. The 80s had The Breakfast Club, and I think the 90s willl forever have Clueless as its defining highschool teen movie.
Alicia Silverstone is just perfect as Cher in the Emma role. My highschool had a girl like her - the popular girl that was actually nice to everybody, including geeks and nerds, and whom everyone liked.
She does her best to help those around her find love - she doesn't always get it right, but she tries hard! Sometimes forgetting to pay attention to her own love life in the process.
It really is amazing how well the Jane Austen classic was adapted into this modern tale. The result is a sweet, funny film.
And the 90s slang is a lot of fun to revisit.
