Lampooning our Bluntheaded civilization as only Coneheads can, Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin star as mega-domed Beldar and Prymaat. Newcomer Michelle Burke plays the teen daughter at odds with her parental units. Michael McKean (as an INS agent who-mebs!-wants to deport illegal alien Beldar) and many more comedy favorites add to the fun of this all-out laugh attack-from Remulak!

Pretty Good For an SNL Movie - FilmJunkie
A pretty funny and totally weird big screen adaptation of the SNL sketch about a family of aliens living on earth who somehow etch out a normal existence despite having heads shaped like cones.
Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtain are good as ever as the head of the cone family. Chris Farley is awesome as always as the boyfriend of their daughter.
Also notable are turns by other SNL alums David Spade and Phil Hartman. Hartman was one of the funniest men who ever lived. His death was far too soon.
This film works somewhat because unlike many other SNL sketch-movies, it has a plot and likeable characters. It does eventually become a bit much, but it is a fun little movie that lives up to the original sketch.meet the coneheads from outter space - movie_goer
Based on sketches of SNL this Phanomen became popular and a demand for movie. As aliens with Cone like heads their no different then a human except there still learning the life of earthlings. The family is funny, lovable, light hearted and a tade escentric. Dan Ackrod is the father and Always trying to keep the household "normal". The daughter wants to be hip and cool and seperate from her Quote:

This is the only SNL movie that I have ever watched over and over and over again. I only rented it - again, because I couldn't buy it anywhere. In fact, it wasn't even available for rent at any store I checked. There are many SNL alumni as well as other comedians you'll recognize. Too bad there was never a sequel. FUNTASTIC!!!
