Death Wish 3
He's Judge, Jury and Executioner!
Paul Kersey doesn't seek out violence. It just seems to find him. But when it does... he's not about to back down! Charles Bronson brings out the heavy artillery in this gun-blazing, no-holds-barred thriller!
Road-worn and battle-weary, Kersey longs to leave his fighting days behind him. But when he arrives in New York to visit an old friend, he finds him brutally attacked and gasping for breath in a pool of blood! Now the silent avenger must wage war once more on the city's punks, thugs and hoodlums. But this time he's brought a small arsenal of guns, knives - and even a bazooka - to help him!

you hear people talking about the movies of the 70's with quiet reverence and maybe a tinge of sadness for a time that has passed us by. this is the kind of movie they are talking about.
its hard to decide what i appreciated the most. certainly, i loved the fact that the first 15 minutes or so contain no dialogue. there was a karate fight that went exactly as it should have without any fancy business. and i liked the end as well. the whole thing had an aura of believeability.
its not a perfect film, mind. and some people find character driven films slow. but i think this is a film you can show your dad, and hed appreciate it.Charles Bronson is the MAN! but.... - fearlessclown67
but in this case.... Charles Bronson went too far. i liked the first 2 death wish movies.... they were tastefully done. 3 brings Bronson into the light and depicts him as some type of Rambo. fact of the matter is there wouldn't be 100's of seniors living in a run down neighborhood full of gangbangers.... and if there was.... i doubt they'd be cheering Bronson on while he firs blindly into a crowd with a mini-gun.Worth Seeing ... only as a "Joke" - TheShamus
While the original movie, "Death Wish", was a controverial watershed movie, this movie is pure tripe. This movie is so bad, it might be worth watching, as it seems to take itself seriously.
The climax of this movie, reminded me of current first-person shooter video games, where wave after wave of mindless bad guys come after our anti-hero (Bronson). The only question in this movie is the method of death -- and not "who will die".
The characters in this film have as much depth as, "extras in a Midas Muffler commercial".
If you are interested in screening bad movies, this title is worthwhile --- otherwise, it would be best for all of us to forget this celluloid even exists!
