Absorbing, unflinching thriller effectively shows how blurry the line is between good and evil, and builds to a very tense climax.
Laurence Fishburne is subtly effective – he creates a real, believable character and his narration is perfect – it advances the story without feeling extraneous. Jeff Goldblum, with perfect timing, puts a fun eccentric spin on the villain role. This is the movie Rush (1991) wished it could be.Rent this movie - Curmudgeon
Larry Fishburne and Jeff Goldblum (where has he been ?) lead a superb cast in a well told and brilliantly acted portrayal of modern day gangsters. Great acting throughout from the stars to the 2nd line supporting actors. Although violent the violence is used to advance the story and add dimensions to the characters. You won't regret getting this one in the mail.Deep Cover - Angel5
This was a great movie! Laurence Fishbune gave a strong performance as an undercover policeman who always came out on top no matter how they tried to "play" him. Jeff Goldbum played his part to the hilt too.
The end of the movie was especially satisfying.
It was nice to see a movie so good and well-acted!
