Dick
He was tricky, They were better.
The year is 1972, and, like most high-school students, Betsy Jobs (Kirsten Dunst) and Arlene Lorenzo (Michelle Williams) just want to have a good time. But when, during a class field trip to the White House, they cluelessly wander into a behind-closed-doors, top-secret shredding session, it's time to both wag the dog, and walk it. Seeking to uncover just how much the witless duo discovered, the Commander-In-Chief, appoints them "Official White House Dog Walkers," and it isn't long before the girls go from taking out Checkers, to taking out Tricky Dick, in this fun-raising comedy of historic distortions.

Great concept, fun watch - camillei
Rented this movie with no real expectations, but was pleasantly surprised.
I love me some Kirsten Dunst, especially during her heyday, and she plays the ditsy high school girl perfectly. Love Michelle Williams too. I especially loved the costumes and sets and all around feel of it, really authentic. Definitely recommended! An unexpected pleasure - Willibrord
Dick is a supremely silly movie, but -- like Legally Blonde and certain others of that ilk -- has a plot in addition to the candy-floss humour provided by the antics of the ditzy characters. The acting is very good, particularly that of Kirsten Dunst, and Dan Hedaya does an uncanny Nixon impression.Charming Fun Comedy. - cathyottawa
This movie relies on the ability of Kirsten Dunst & Michelle Williams to play ditsy but loveable highschool girls - and they pull it off wonderfully.
I'd have to disagree with Janesarah as to Michelle Williams's performance - I thought she had the more challenging role of the two, and was just great at making a tricky performance look effortless.
I would agree with Janesarah that you don't have to know anything about Watergate to enjoy this movie (though it's even more fun if you do).
I loved the 70s feel of the movie - it's a big part of the fun.
The supporting cast is full of comedy veterens, including Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, and Jim Breuer from Saturday Night Live, and Dave Foley & Bruce McCulloch from Kids In The Hall.
Teri Garr is also well cast as Michelle Williams's mother.
Don't let the political angle scare you, this is a screwball comedy that is sweet and funny. You'll have a good time.
