Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead
No rules. No curfews. No nagging. No pulse.
It's a summer full of unexpected fun and foul play when mom takes a trip to Australia leaving Sue Ellen [Christina Applegate ("Married With Children")] and the kids behind. What they didn't expect was the babysitter mom left to take care of them -- an elderly tyrant who's ready to make their lives miserable -- until she keels over dead on the first night. Now the kids figure they can have the summer of their dreams, only they don't have any money for the basics -- like movies, dates and pizza. It's up to Sue Ellen to find a job, but to make it in the adult world she has to fake it from the top of her resume to the tip of her nail polish. If she succeeds, Sue Ellen and the kids are going to have a summer they'll never forget...so long as they Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead.

This was one of my favourite movies as a kid. Seeing it again has brought back a lot of memories. My favourite part used to be the scene where "Suell" serves the kids breakfast, she pours a whole box of cap'n crunch and a carton of milk into a huge bowl... A lot of nostalgia. This movie brings me right back to my younger years when Christina Applegate was Kelly Bundy and it was cool to wear neon clothing. After seeing this flick I was desperate to land myself a secret job at an office and wow the higher ups with my natural skill. Rent this sucker!You should not tell - Macrason
After seeing this movie when it came out, I enjoyed it back then (I was a teen at the time). After seeing it this past weekend, we still enjoyed it, but not as much as when I was younger. I found that the fashion statement back then was horrible and can't believe we used to dress like that to be "in". I still liked the old lady!! Cheers.
