Double Impact
"Slam-bang action! Double Impact delivers the goods!" -Los Angeles Times
What could be better than Jean-Claude Van Damme in an explosively entertaining action extravaganza? Two of him! There's twice the excitement, twice the mayhem and twice the fun in this turbo-charged adventure that pushes the thrills into overdrive.
Van Damme leaps into the dual roles of Chad and Alex Wagner, twin brothers who were separated after their parents' brutal murder. Years later, the two couldn't be more different: Chad is a slick Beverly Hills fitness instructor, while Alex is a rough-and-tumble smuggler on the gritty streets of Hong Kong. But when fate throws them together again, Chad and Alex discover that there's one thing they have in common: they're both fighting machines! Determined to enact revenge on their parents' killers, the martial-arts experts kick, chop and shoot all the way to an electrifying final showdown aboard a gargantuan freighter in Hong Kong harbor.

The only thing better than Van Damme in a flick like this is two of them! Yeah boy! This movie is good times all around. Beatings left and right sprinkled with horrible yet funny one liners by the man himself. Or should I say both of them? Alex rules. He's the bad boy brother and seeing him go on a drunken jealous rage is worth the rental alone. A must for Van damme fans.
FUN FACT: Due to a strong friendship formed between the two actors on the set of Bloodsport (1988), Jean-Claude Van Damme wanted no one but Bolo Yeung to play the lead villain in this movie. Can Two JCVD's Save This Action Flick? - bwod
The bottom line - if you like plenty of action and little else, then you will probably enjoy this 1991 Jean-Claude Van Damme flick, which has the gimmick of having our hero play twin brothers. It is well done and quite believable, but it ain't Shakespeare! If you are a fan of Karate or Kung Fu, and don't mind a few guns thrown in for variety, then you will likely enjoy the movie. I give it one thumb up.Near the end.. - DigitalPhear
If your an old school Van Damme movie fan then this is a must rent. It's a little cheesy (no big suprise there) but it's a must see.
This movie came out near the end of Van Dammes classic era of movies. Its not BloodSport or Kick Boxer, but it's not an utter disgrace like every movie he's made since Time Cop.
Alot of good Van Damme martial arts in it to keep your attention on the screen, throw in the fact that there are two Van Dammes and you get twice the action, not to mention twice the cheese.
