Side A: Dragonheart (1996, 103 mins)
Long ago, when majestic fire-breathers soared through the skies, there lived a knight who would come face-to-face and heart-to-heart with the most remarkable creature that ever existed. Dennis Quaid stars with the voice of Sean Connery in this heroic adventure that blazes with fantasy, humor, and the most amazing special effects since Jurassic Park! This epic adventure will move and thrill the entire family.

Adventure rules in this thrilling action epic follow-up to the original hit film, Dragonheart. When Geoff, an orphaned stable boy (Malcolm in Middle's Chris Masterson), discovers Drake (the voice of Robby Benson), the world's last living dragon, he realizes that his dream of becoming a knight in shining armor can now come true. Together, they soon face challenges that turn them into heroes. But caught up in the excitement of their new lives, Geoff and Drake fail to see the hidden dangers that surround them. Conquering the enemy may take more than courageous exploits and brave deeds... it may take everything they have.

Loved the First, but the Sequel Fell Flat - dtaylor
Draco is the last of the dragons and Bowen is the last Knight of the Old Code. Together, the two form an unlikely friendship and, in trying to keep up a Dragon and Dragon Slayer reputation, attempt to con the local villages along the way.
But when evil King Einon, whom Draco saved from a fatal injury when he was a boy, pushes the kingdom too far, the hopeless villagers find a new reason to fight.
This was my favorite movie growing up, and still remains very close to my heart (no pun intended)to this day.
Also, I'm not even going to mention the seguel. It was a cute, but unnecessary, continuation of a story that needs no more elaboration.Dragonheart - movie_buff
Dragonheart was a great fantasy, dragon-type movie. Good acting and great plot. The second movie, Dragonheart:A New Beginning was absolutely terrible. None of the original cast, which usually tells you something, horrible "acting", if you could even call it acting. I give Dragonheart 3.5 stars and the second movie 0 stars. Do not waste you time. One winner, one loser. - Radio_Jane
This double feature only gives 50%. I would strongly reccommend that only the first film be viewed.- DRAGONHEART:A funny and touching story about a tempermental dragon and the dissolusioned Knight that befriends him, Dragonheart features two wonderful performances: Dennis Quaid's Knight, and Sean Connery as the voice of Draco the dragon. The story is great, although the ending is predictable it is still heartwarming. DRAGONHEART:A NEW BEGINNING: This one was like a bad children's rehashing, with no original story line and boring actors. pass on this one
