Beautifully sad movie - maebers
Campbell Scott was great as the young man dying of leukemia and gave a riveting performance as a young man who had never been able to fully live his life and groping for what he considers his last chance of happiness before dying. Julia Roberts shows once again how she can take an ordinary script and turn it into a worthwhile flickDying Bored! - Elliptical
This movie was slow, predictable, and not very uplifting. It is sappiness just for its own sake. I usally like chick flicks but this was a snoozefest!!!! I rented it for Julia Roberts and well she manages to flash her incredible smile a few times. Campbell Scott is worth looking at, when he is not puking his brains out, that is! The Acting seems forced and the whole cover shot of them riding a horse.... NEVER happens! I am sorry I wasted my money on this one!SAPPY! - BretsSweetie74

Hasn't this type of storyline been over done? I mean, come on... A dying rich man falls for his nurse... And, all he wants is a piece of tail, and then when it gets too much to handle, he pushes her away! My lord... BLAH!
