Great Movie - Tytee
I for one will always and forever love this movie! It is slightly different from the original, but for me it was great to see the remix because it answered some of those lingering questions I always had... The soundtrack is great, could have been a bit more edgy, but regardless it fits in well with the storyline. Simply put, it is a great feel good movie that I know I can always watch when I need to smile, laugh and rock out :) Damn the man SAVE THE EMPIRE!!!!Day in the life of a record store employee - Amelie1
Oh, this made me laugh. This movie was bringing memories flooding back into my head from the 5 years of instore music retail that i did. Now, I would of fired most of those employees...but the sterotypes were pretty funny and exagerated ofcourse, but same idea. Oddly enough, I was working in a store when this movie came out...but only saw it for the first time last week. Who wants to watch what they do all day? it is interesting to see who made it out of small movies into the Big times out of that pack of youthful actors. The story is fun and hyper...there is several stories going on at once. It is worth a watch.watch this! - great
This is one of my favorite movies. I have seen it over and over again. It is funny, but also has serious relatable issues as well. A group of employees try to save a record store, and end up discovering each others problems along the way. I laughed all the way through, and still years later find myself quoting bits from the movie.
"Who knows where thoughts come from, they just happen!"
