Enough: Special Edition
"A jarring thriller. Lopez holds the screen in a star performance." - Stephen Holden, The New York Times
Working-class waitress Slim (Jennifer Lopez, Maid in Manhattan) thought she was entering a life of domestic bliss when she married Mitch (Billy Campbell, TV's "Once and Again"), the man of her dreams. After the arrival of her first child, her picture perfect life is shattered when she discovers Mitch's hidden possessive dark side, a controlling and abusive alter ego that can turn trust, love and tranquility into terror.
Terrified for her child's safety, Slim flees with her daughter. Relentless in his pursuit and enlisting the aid of lethal henchmen, Mitch continually stalks the prey that was once his family. Finally, Slim is forced to fight back, engaging Mitch in a physical and psychological battle, showing him that she's had Enough!
Jennifer Lopez delivers an electrifying performance as a new breed of action hero in director Michael Apted's (The World is Not Enough) harrowing, high-style hit thriller.

This is a mean spirited, manipulative, peice of garbage of a movie. Jennifer Lopez stars as the abused housewife whose husband becomes uncontrolably abusive 5 years into their relationship, at the second the plot requires him to.
This movie is an insult to women that deal with real emotional and physical abuse and is really just an excuse for a moronic fight sequence at the conclusion. I do not have a single good thing to say about it, hollywood rarely sinks lower then this.wowza - Pumon
I would not want to upset Jennifer Lopez after watching this movie. This is a story of a women who after being abused by her husband decides to take matters into her own hands. The movie is very good and the subject matter is important and the movie is definitly worth watchingUgh. - cathyottawa
This movie is beyond terrible.
I would agree with Rotton Tomatoes that it exploits the serious issue of spousal abuse.
The character of the abusive husband is not believeable. They had a chance here to really show how abuse starts and escalates...
...but instead, they have this guy be prince charming for the first four years or so of marriage, and then turn into a sadistic creep out of the blue. His character is so over the top, it's laughable.
And then they bring in these accomplices that help the husband, and it looks like he's somehow had this planned all along. For what possible reason? Who the heck knows. It's just dumb.
And the "feminist" message that physically fighting back is the only, or best way? Please.
Do yourself a favour, rent "The Burning Bed" instead. A much better, much more realistic look at spousal abuse.
