Ever After: A Cinderella Story
Drew Barrymore and Angelica Huston star in this enchanting adventure about having the courage to make your dreams come true. A "modern" young woman of the 16th Century, Danielle is as independent and wise as she is beautiful and kind. Against remarkable odds, she stands up to her scheming stepmother and works miracles on the lives of everyone around her, including the crown prince of France.

I really enjoyed this movie, I thought that Drew Barrymore was wonderful in it and I loved the story line. I think everyone loves a cinderella story! This one was more sophisticated though and seemed more authentic. Barrymore's character was someone that people can relate to.No matter how bad things get they can always get worse - hilkayaker
Best Line EVER!! This movie is so much fun. A great twist to the telling of Cinderella. Very romantic. Drew Berrymore is such an entertaining actress, she does a great job. I saw this movie when it came out in 1998 and it still is one of my favourite movies! The script, acting, costumes are so well done that it doesn't feel like a movie that was released so long ago. Drew Barrymore does a fantastic job as Danielle, the young girl who loses her father and is mistreated for years by her stepmother and stepsisters. Despite her hardships she is a spirited, strong, vocal, young woman who doesn't wait for anyone to rescue her. Dougray Scott is equally wonderful as Prince Henry who is intrigued by Danielle. Scott brings a wonderful depth and humanity to the prince and its easy to see why Danielle falls in love with him.
