Great film, but not as good as the first one. - moviegenius
This is a really good movie. I'm glad that they didn't cancel out Martin Short's character. He was funny as always. I also liked Steve Martin. He's just so silly sometimes in the movie. At the end, when they have the babies, the babies were so adorable. They really were and I also liked this one scene with sleeping pills. You'll have to see it to know what I mean. See this sequel and the first one! I also liked Eugene Levy as this one small character from a foreign country who buys Steve Martin's house and tries to knock it down. You readers who are fans of cute babies, Steve Martin, Martin Short and good romantic comedies will be happy at the end.new chapter in fathers life - movie_goer

Martin Shorts back as the girls Lamas teacher and still funny as the orginal get ready for 2 new editions of the family.Wonderful sequel - Derly1
I enjoyed the first movie Father of the Bride so when I heard the sequel was coming out I couldn't wait to see it. This movie sure didn't dissapoint me either. It was very funny I found. You have Steve Martin and Diane Keaton returning as the lovable and funny George and Nina Banks as well as a great returning cast. This time around George is interupted in his future plans with his wife when the announcement of his daughter Annie is going to be a mom. As you can expect he's not to thrilled at the thought of being a grandfather. We see him hilarisly trying to be young by working out and even dying his hair. When George finally becomes ok with the fact he's again surprized with the news that Nina is expecting as well. The one and only Martin Short reprizes his role as quirky Frank, and mixing the two of them makes a hilarious bunch. Can George handle having to take care of both his daughter and wife through this difficult time? You definatly have to rent it to find out.
