Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Bueller... Buelller... Edition
Ferris Bueller. Larger than life. Blessed with a magical sense of serendipity. He’s a model for all those who take themselves too seriously. A guy who knows the value of a day off.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off chronicles the events in the day of a rather magical young man, Ferris (Matthew Broderick). One spring day, toward the end of his senior year, Ferris gives in to an overwhelming urge to cut school and head for downtown Chicago with his girl (Mia Sara) and his best friend (Alan Ruck), to see the sights, experience a day of freedom and show that with a little ingenuity, a bit of courage and a red Ferrari, life at 17 can be a joy!

An Awesome Movie! - curtis66
Ferris Brueller's Day Off is a really awesome comedy! I remember the first time I saw this movie, i laughed so hard.. I think I have seen it probably ten to fifteen times now and every time I see it I still laugh and find it just as funny as the first time I saw it... This is definitely an under rated comedy movie! I would highly recommend it to any one who is looking for a good, non raunchy comedy that will still make you laugh! A must watch if you have not had the chance to see it yet!!Classic - Ashley
Nobody expected this to become a cult classic, but Matthew Broderick's endearing and relatable high schooler made the film a huge success for every generation. The oh-so-simple and innocent storyline makes it a perfect little film to cheer you up on a bad day, offering a complete package of silly plot, fun characters, quotable lines, and overall adorableness. A Chicago setting and cheesy 80s new wave soundtrack only add to the experience. This one will never get old.Ridiculously hilarious! - wingfield
This was a very popular teen movie in the 80's that had everyone uttering the name Ferris Bueller. Just thinking about his name brings back a lot of memories and a smile to my face.
I still have this one in VHS and it's great for those sick days when you are too tired to think logically.
This was literally a "how to skip to school without getting caught" flick for the high school crowd. It was a truly ground breaking movie in regards to having a character look and speak directly to the audience. At that time, it was mind boggling to break the cardinal rule of "thou shall not look at the camera" and it was purposely done over and over. Throughout the fim, Ferris often turned around and spoke to you as if he was having a one on one conversation with you.
The outrageous stunts, typical sublime humour of that era, and famous faces of actors long before they became super stars, will have you laughing until your sides hurt. It was insanely ridiculous from beginning to end and to this day I still laugh at it. I can't even supress a smirk and giggle while thinking about Ferris Bueller.
Believe me, once you watch it, that name will remain forever in your memory. And you'll end up snorting your popcorn through your nose remembering it.
For those of who have seen it, you'll know what the next line means:
Bueller, Bueller, Bueller...?
