Just like every entry into the Friday the 13th series, I loved this movie. Not because it is a great movie or because the acting is so great, these movies just have a certain charm that I can not resist. Part 6 is not the best in the series by a long shot nor is it the worst (that would be Jason Takes Manhattan). Either you like these movies or you don't there is no middle ground If you enjoy them then this one you will find to be a lot of fun. Recommended.Perhaps the best of the series. - 71Ace
Really good movie compared to others in the series. Jason gets an “upgrade” and is more powerful than ever. The result is some spectacular death scenes. This installment did very well in building suspense and is more like the first and second movies in that respect. While I found a lot of boring and dragging moments in the previous movies, this one starts of with a bang and never really lets up. Highly recommended and one of my favorites. He's Back (Again) - kav2001c
This one brings the second trilogy to a close
Jason is resurected and whereas in the first trilogy he was a boy who was alive, now he is (somehow) an immortal killing machine, more of a monster than a human
This is also the script where they start making ALOT more jokes at Jason's expense
And the effects look alot better (more refined) than previous outings
