Hard Target
Don't Hunt What You Can't Kill.
The thrill of the hunt. It's the ultimate drug, and the more intense the rush, the higher the price. Banking on this equation is sadistic mercenary Emil Fouchon (Lance Henriksen), who is recruiting homeless combat veterans for the "amusement" of his clients -- bored tycoons who will pay half a million dollars to stalk and kill the most challenging prey of all: Man. So when beautiful Natasha Binder (Yancy Butler) comes to New Orleans in search of her missing father, she gets more than she bargained for!
Together, she and merchant sailor Chance Bordreaux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) stumble upon this unspeakably evil "safari." A martial arts expert and former vet himself, Chance is the one man Fouchon can't seem to beat -- which makes him the ultimate trophy. World-famous action film director John Woo's American debut.

Jean-Claude Van Damme is very good in this movie. It is one of the better ones he has made. Yancy Butler is also good here but it would have been nice if they gave her a stronger role rather than that of the weak female. The story is good the acting is good and the effects are very good.Cool movie - filemanager
I'm not sure what the mullet was about, but I do know this: Arnold Vosloo made the movie. He was great in it!
I'm also not sure why the girl hung around for so long. I mean you'd think she would come to town, do her business, and then leave. But for some reason she hangs around mullet-man.
As you'd expect from Van Damme, the martial arts were great. Some good action, and choreography there.
All in all, an entertaining flick.Good Times - CaptainRhodes
I know what to expect when I rest my bones and watch me a Van Damme movie. That's why I'm always surprised to read horrible reviews regarding his movies. Jesus, he's been around awhile now and if someone is expecting The Godfather than they are just foolish. This is why I can enjoy Van Damme flicks regardless of the thin plots and less than stellar acting. That's why I'm rating this one so high. It's full of priceless Van Damme moves and
corny lines. It even contains a scene where Van Damme punches a rattlesnake in the head, knocking it out cold. That alone is worth a viewing and if that doesn't crack you up then we are not on the same page. When you order a burger you ain't getting a steak.
