Heart Of Dragon
It's the two brothers of Hong Kong action as you have never seen them before in a gripping drama where the lines blur between family loyalty and upholding the law.
In what is possibly the dramatic role of his career, Jackie Chan (Rush Hour, Police Story) plays Ted, a SWAT officer who dreams of being a sailor. It is a dream that he is forced to put on the back burner because he has to look after his mentally disabled brother Danny (Sammo Hung). The resentment builds up to a terse showdown between the two brothers and leaves Danny determined to prove his independence.
Unfortunately, Danny lands in hot soup when he unwittingly ends up with the loot from a robbery. With both the law and the robbers after the witless Danny, Ted has to make an agonizing decision: does he save the hapless Danny or arrest him?

Another Worthy Title Starring Jackie Chan And Sammo Hung - bwod
Although "Heart Of Dragon" has trouble deciding if it's a melodrama or an action flick (the first half focuses on the drama, while the second half is more action), the outcome can only be one thing - Kung Fu Fighting! Some of the best fight choreography ever put on film. The only disappointment is Sammo Hung's character, who because he is mentally challenged, does not provide his usual fight scenes. But Jackie Chan more than makes up for it. A different kind of Jackie Chan movie, I give it one thumb up.
