A CLASSIC! If you have not seen this - what are you waiting for? - Filmaholic
Home alone is a classic story. It shows how a kid reacts when he is left at home and able to do whatever he wants without parents.
The bumbling criminals trying to rob the houses on his block help add to this plot and make it thoroughly entertaining.
McCauley Caulkin's career took off as a result of this film. He does a great job!
If you have not seen this movie - it is a must see! In fact, the sequel is quite good too! GET IT NOW!!!AWESOME - nibster
Possibly the rudest and most empowering kid flick ever.
Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) is forgotten by his huge family as they go to Paris for Christmas vacation. He finds that he able to take care of himself and fight off bad guys and they learn that they value him.
We've all seen it, but it's a pretty good flick over all, one I will one day show my kids, if I have 'em and make them dream of being forgotten in a huge house with Joe Pesci trying to break in just as I once didHell Yes! - FilmJunkie
