Charlie Sheen, Lloyd Bridges, Cary Elwes, Valeria Golino and Jon Cryer co-star in director Jim Abrahams' (Airplane, Naked Gun) truly hilarious spoof of Top Gun. Recruited to join a top-secret mission for the Air Force, a renegade pilot (Sheen) finds himself coping with an incompetent admiral (Bridges) and a carefully selected squadron of flyers who are either inept or half-blind. He also winds up in competition with the corps' model of military perfection (Elwes) for the heart of the base's sultry psychiatrist (Golino).

A funny spoof comedy in the vein of Airplane, Naked Gun or the Mel Brooks movies where not one part of the film is serious. No topic is off limits when it comes to be being mocked. It is a parody of a few movies but mainly Top Gun. Charlie Sheen is very funny, also Lloyd Bridges is hilarious as a character which is basically the same one from Airplane.Hilarious - ShawnConnery
This was a great move, very enjoyable and funny to watch. You laugh every 2 seconds and have to watch even the background for gags. Very much like Naked Gun, Airplane, etc. Some bad language and innuendos, so I have to warn that it's not PG, but PG-13. Everybody acted in their roles great. Lloyd Bridges was a perfect pick.Very Leslie Nielsen-ish - neverjustacigar
Lots of people falling down, getting hit in the head, but still a very funny movie. Charlie Sheen gave his character some depth, which made it even funnier. Good to see Sheen and Jon Cryer working together in a non-Two and a Half men relationship, but Cryer is pretty one-dimensional this time. A comedy classic, must see once in a life-time.
