How The Grinch Stole Christmas
"An Instant Classic." -Jay Carr, The Boston Globe
The classic celebration of the spirit of the holidays comes home. Acclaimed director Ron Howard, his longtime partner and producer Brian Grazer, plus Jim Carrey (as the Grinch) brings Dr. Seuss' beloved tale to life in this adventure "that can make your heart grow three sizes - if you're not laughing too hard!" (Steve Murray, Atlanta Journal-Constitution).
With dazzling scenery and special effects, narration by Oscar®-winner Anthony Hopkins and Jim Carrey's own rendition of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," this gift from the heart is a "holiday package that kids will embrace and parents will adore" (Philip Wuntch, Dallas Morning News).

A delightful twist on the Dr. Seuss - kathycant
Personally I prefer the original cartoon one, but that’s not to say this one isn’t good.
“Whoville’ as well as the Grinch’s house are very creative and fun to watch. The story is very cute, and you won’t be bored. There are little funny cracks that kids, and adults will laugh over. One of my families’ favourite Christmas movies.Carrey is great - bigmancandy
This movie is obviously the retelling of the great Seuss classic and I thought it was a pretty good job. Jim Carrey steals the show and the little girl who plays Cindy Lou Who is adorable. Its a great Christmas watch and is a must on my family's Christmas watch list. I think this movie is great for kids and adults.A Holiday Favourite - Varrus
I know not a lot of people like this version of Dr. Seuss' story but I love it. Absolutely, I agree that a lot of it is completely over-the-top and maybe a tad excessive but for me it still works just the same. Jim Carrey's performance as the Grinch was great and you've got to love the adorable dog, Max, and of course little Cindy-Lou Who. The set design was fantastic too; they did an awesome job bringing the town of Whoville to life. It looks straight out of a Dr. Seuss book!
