I like Claire Danes and Jude Law, and I can usually gloss over the bare spots in a romance, but this just didn't work for me.
The script was slow moving. While the relationship between the girl and her grandmother was interesting, there were too many scenes of them enjoying each other. The cross overs from the holocaust didn't make sense to me. Actually none of it made sense, the mood changes, the dialogue and I found it boring too boot. Some good spots...but I couldn't get through to the end without fast forwarding and I simply didn't care about the characters.
