IMAX: Lost Worlds - Life In The Balance
Originally Presented in IMAX® Theaters - Narrated by Harrison Ford
Deep in the jungles of Guatemala, a black jaguar prowls the ruins of Tikal, a Mayan city that has lain abandoned for a thousand years. What can its fate tell us about our own cities, our own society? To find out, join narrator Harrison Ford on an exploration of the mysteries of our planet's biological diversity. Tunnel into a metropolis of micro-organisms beneath New York, swim through the kelp forests of the Pacific, and climb to the top of the mysterious mountains in Venezuela that inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel, The Lost World. Discover the wondrous relationships of living things, explore humanity's interconnectedness with nature, and gain insight into the puzzle of human survival itself.

Imax films are great -- they have fantastic visuals, often shot from helicoptors and airplanes. The sweeping panoramas and arial vistas give you a bird's eye view of the jungle, if the bird moved at mach 1 and could fly between stone karsts with a camera mounted on its back.
I like all the Imax films. Not all that great to tell the truth - MsFan24
This Imax film is actually a little of a letdown. Imax films are usually a lot more visually appealing than this one. There are really only one or two lost worlds in the film and they are already found, as of now. Most of the film was about cities that we live in today and how we can prevent becoming a Lost World. It was pretty pathetic, as far as history goes. Harrison Ford narrating about half of it was the only bright part. Skip this one.Worth A Look - Coach1
As always I find IMAX films a great way to learn about life around us. Unfortunately, with this film for me it was lacking in the vibrant colours associated with IMAX. This is not to say this film is not worth a look, it just did not grab my attention like most others IMAX films.
