Inseminoid
Man had landed on the planet before: a fruitless, expensive fiasco of an expedition. Then, fifty years later a smaller but disastrous landing had left two men horribly and unexplainable dead. Now a third attempt had so far
found nothing but a silent, lifeless world. Until they broke open the underground chamber and discovered in the most vile way imaginable that the planet was not quite dead. That a sleeping life form had been waiting for millennia, needing
only a chance to breed before escaping to spread like a foul, devouring disease into the lifeblood of the universe. And to breed it needs the bodies of those who had disturbed it.
Filmed in the tradition of “ALIEN”. The style and feel of this movie will certainly remind you of “ALIEN”

Inert creature feature with not much creature - Superdave
Don't let the elaborate monster effect on the box fool you. There is nothing in the movie that looks that good or scary. In fact you barely see the monster, a few dark flashes of something that might be menacing in a better light, before it fulfills the title objective and impregnates one of the female crew (Judy Geeson). She then goes on a berserk rampage for reasons not adequately explained. This sounds better than it plays onscreen: what could have been trashy fun with a zippier pace or a more knowing comic hand is played deadpan straight, and deadly slow. There is none of the unintentional humour that this type of exercise usually evokes, and for a supposed action action movie, nothing much happens. There are a few attempts at generating suspense via ALIEN-style stalkings of other crew members, but lacking ALIEN's richly spooky atmosphere, even these fall flat. Talk about a ripoff! Poor creature effects, no suspense, no nice looking sci-fi production values, not even any camp appeal. The viewer is left with an interminably slow, cheap-as-dirt looking non-thriller. Don't get stung.
