Jackie Chan and his eleven-year-old niece Jade are on an important mission to stop magic Chinese talismans from falling into the Dark Hand of evil. Traveling from New York City to Istanbul to their San Francisco home base, first they tangle with the female jewel thief Viper while hunting for the snake talisman in a famous museum. Later, Jackie and Jade get a wild ride from a slothful tortoise who holds the rabbit talisman in its shell. Jade learns the secret of astral projection when she sneaks off with the sheep talisman, but the powerful dragon spirit Shendu has other plans for Jade and the world - unless Jackie can stop him.
