A Giant Adventure for Everyone! - MrsH
As a child I always loved Roald Dahl books! James and the Giant Peach was one of my favorites and I remember when this movie came out. Thought I am not much of a Tim Burton fan, this is one of his best in my opinion. They did a wonderful job of the opening scene when James' parents are eaten by the Rhino. I love how it changes from life to animated, just an all around wonderful family film I can not wait to watch with my children!Classic Childhood Story - grantalias
While not as polished as other stop motion films (yet still good), the combination of stop motion and live action helps children enter the magical world of James. Quite similar to themes and plot in Cinderella. Hard working child is taken in by evil relatives and befriends insects and goes on a journey to happy ever after.
With memorable songs and well voice acted characters it's a fun movie for children and those young at heart.Big Adventure For The Whole Family - sherrybaby213
Another great family film that is sure to please all! Though carrying a dark and sinister note, this film combines both the sinister and light heearted to create this family adventure. This movie is about a young boy, James, whose parents left him to his two wicked aunts. Just when things are looking their grimmest, something unbelievable happens, and James gets the loving family and friends he had always dreamed about since his parents passing. From giant loveable bugs, to skeleton pirates living on a shipwreck, this movie is sure to please all. Take yourself on an adventure to to the Empire State Building, and enjoy the ride!
