Watch "The Enforcer" For It's Action Sequences - bwod
I definitely had problems with the script on this film. It shows a child of eleven being duped and beaten almost to death. Sure, it's just a fictitious cartoon-like movie, but still!
Never mind trying to follow the plot in detail. I was pondering the whole mess for most of the 105 minute running time. The only reason to watch it is for the action scenes. Unfortunately, they are far and few between. Jet Li is still my hero, and I recommend it to die-hard martial arts fans only. One thumb up.Good luck understanding the plot - Mookie
Jet Li will not win any father of the year awards after this film. He plays a father who pretends to strangle his son, puts him in a trash bag, uses him as a Yo yo and forgets to tell him that he is actually an undercover cop. There are some okay action sequences but nothing that impressive. On top of all of that - The dubbed dialogue is obviously flawed and leaves out major chunks of the story so the plot is difficult to follow.
Rent Ong Bak or almost any Jackie Chan film first.
