Keeping The Faith
Ben Stiller (There's Something About Mary), Jenna Elfman (EdTV) and Edward Norton (Fight Club) star in Keeping The Faith, a sexy romantic comedy so fresh and funny, you'll fall head over heels in love! Jake Schram (Stiller) and Brian Finn (Norton) are single, successful, extremely popular guys who have been best friends since, well...forever. They are about to be reunited with their other best childhood buddy -- the feisty, lanky tomboy, Anna (Elfman). Anna has grown into a high-powered, workaholic beauty whose reentry into their lives turns this old circle of friends into a love triangle -- a very complicated one at that because Jake's a rabbi and Brian is a priest. But have faith, this gem is going to steal your heart.

Heartwarming and Believable - crazyboutmovies
As a Catholic, I approached this film with a great deal of skepticism. Whenever Hollywood tries to do a story about Catholics, or Catholic priests, the result is either not believable, or insulting (see The Da Vinci Code).
I must say that I was absoluted moved and delighted by this heartwarming and believable tale of love and friendship.
Jenna Elfman is perfect for the role, and so are Ben Stiller as the Rabbi and Edward Norton as the Catholic priest.
Edward Norton also needs to be commended for his sensitive direction of the story.Nice, Light Comedy - newdaysof
Ed Norton and Ben Stiller make a good team in this romantic comedy.
With an unusual twist, Stiller plays a Rabbi while Norton plays a priest and they both fall in love with the same girl. Conflict arises when Stiller's character realizes he will get in trouble with his Jewish congregation because he is in love with a non-Jew. The Jews expect other Jews to marry only Jews. He also gets in trouble when he keeps the affair secret from Norton's character.
It is a fairly interesting movie with lots of character development. Ben Stiller shows what a great actor he is by giving an excellent, heart-felt speech to his congregation. He also shows he's a comedic genius with several hilarious stunts like when he tries to sneak past "T-Bone" the security guard. Norton is a bit lack-lustre in this role - not bad, but not really stand-out either. Possibly because he directed and produced the film, he lost a bit of his acting focus.
The film also includes good performances by a number of fine actors including Anne Bancroft, Milos Forman and Eli Wallach to name just a few.Grade A Stuff - Radio_Jane
This was a nice change for fans of Edward Norton who were starting to have trouble stomaching his tense and often graphic thriller roles. It is a smarter than most of the romantic comedy fare, and it raises some very timely questions and deals with some very contraversial social issues. Still it manages to stay light hearted and for the most part funny, and it is really easy to empathize with the principals. A good choice or your ASAP slot
