Kiss The Girls
A detective is searching for a deadly collector. His only hope is the woman who got away.
Eight kidnapped women. All beautiful. All talented. All in danger of having their lives cut cruelly short if police detective Alex Cross and key witness Kate Mctiernan can't locate the elusive "collector" who calls himself Cassanova.
From the Deep South to the California coast and back, the hunt is on in this provocative race-against-time suspenser based on the best-selling novel by James Patterson. Ashley Judd plays resourceful, strong-willed Mctiernan. She's the lone escapee from Casanova's hidden lair...and determined to rescue the fellow captives she left behind. Morgan Freeman is Cross, a master at solving the unsolvable. But there's more than his reputation at stake: This time one of the victimes is his niece.

In Kiss the Girls, viewers join a police psychologist on a nationwide manhunt for a criminal with one of the most unusual MO’s imaginable.
Alex Cross searches for his abducted niece under the theory that the perpetrator is a collector and that Naomi may still be alive. Cross believes the clues to Naomi’s whereabouts lie in the evidence against a serial killer on the west coast. The story builds to a chilling climax in which the complete nature of the crimes is discovered and then grabs hold and whisks you into a frantic and thrilling ride with more twists to come.
Cross is portrayed as a super-sleuth with deductive reasoning skills a notch above norm. This is the root of the movie’s biggest flaws. It works a little too hard at making its protagonist responsible for every clue unearthed, every revelation or major breakthrough in the case. Moments of discovery are overplayed and experts are inherently, though not blatantly, dummied down in attempts to “capture” Cross in moments of enlightenment. Viewers able to look below the surface may find themselves asking “and everybody else missed that?” more than once.
Despite a questionable script, police psychologist, Alex Cross, is played convincingly and almost to perfection by Morgan Freeman. The performance delivers a clear portrayal of a character superior in his field who thoughtfully applies his skills without any pretence or arrogance. Ashley Judd plays a woman who escapes from the abductor and whose memory may hold keys to finding the victims she left behind. A natural bond of friendship and respect builds between the two characters driven by similar strong wills. Judd makes this credible and avoids traps that could make it seem romantic.
Thriller fans and Morgan Freeman fans will have no problem finding abundant entertainment in this movie. Just don’t over exert yourself trying to look too deep. The plot on the surface has sufficient complexity to keep you engaged.Obsessed Psycho - kav2001c
Good performances all around but this film didnt really stand the test of time (or perhaps it was the problem I already knew the ending?)
Either way I didnt enjoy this film as much as I did when I first saw it
Deals with a psycho who abducts women who fit his profile (strong willed talented women who he likes to dominate)
One of them escapes his lair and of course brings about his downfall when she returns with the police
