Kuffs
Who needs experience when you have attitude?
Christian Slater stars in this non-stop action-comedy! George Kuffs (Slater) is a restless young man who wants to make the big score. but when his beautiful girlfriend (Milla Jovovich) begins to get serious, George decides it's time to move on.
Approaching his older brother Brad (Bruce Boxleitner) for a loan, George receives a job proposal instead: join Brad's well-regarded Patrol Special team. Not real keen on the idea, George nonetheless becomes the new owner of the business when Brad is heartlessly gunned down in the line of duty.
Soon George finds himself battling a crime spree in his district with a surly police partner (Tony Goldwyn). Out to avenge his brother, George closes in on a crooked art dealer who is trying to wrestle the district away from him.
Breakneck action meets slapstick comedy with a hip score by Harold Faltermeyer in this high-powered adventure!

Time travel back to the early to mid 1980's - Porkchop
Now exceeding 20 years, this 1980's movie may attract
viewers on account of the big-name actress Ashley Judd in
it, although in reality she's shown for less than 90
seconds in the entire movie, and this in an action
sequence, showing a paint shop getting drilled with
machine gun fire. In that respect, KUFFS will be a major
disappointment for those expecting Judd to be at the
center stage.
In reality, the protagonist is the Jack Nicholson wannabe
or hopeful of the time, Christian Slater as well as the
city of San Francisco. Much like the other movie, also in
San Francisco, (TWISTED with Ashley Judd), that city is
prominently shown in various aspects, namely the world
reknowned bridge, and some surroundings of the area,
parks, hills, etc.
The story is not entirely serious, which is a benefit,
considering most people going to the movies want to relax,
so in this sense, the picture is successful, if not for
the not tasteless but redundant nudity involving Slater
and the lovely and young Milla Jovovich, playing his girlfriend.
The movie, from a visual point of view, works extremely
well, with many varied, sharp, colored and interesting
streets, buildings and filming locations chosen. Anyone
not having done tourism in that city or area will benefit,
much like that which is the case in another movie, showing
Raleigh, NC, "Kiss the Girls" with Morgan Freeman, for example.
There is a focus on the clothes people wear, obviously, as
the characters seem to only wear pastel-colored items that many
for some were trendy at the time, as made clear from other
movies, such as Miami Vice, also from the 80's, for example.
Ironically, in the opening sequence, the bad guy has his mug
shot stenciled onto his pastel T-Shirt, yet is covering his
face with a scarf, to avoid being later recognized. How
his victims would fail to remember to police the image seen on his
T-Shirt,Classic Slater - back_from_the_future
This movie is entertaining and refreshing, when i was growing up i always thought christian slater was one of the coolest actors and in this one that's exactly what he is cool! Lots of little funny things in this movie make it a classic, and not a classic in the terms of awards or great story telling, but a classic in terms of will always be a favorite movie of mine. Definately recommend to any christian slater fan out there.Slow moving but end is good - moviejunky
There were things about this move that were good but it was really slow moving at the beginning. We hated the way the main character kept talking to the camera and the one big swearing scene was bleeped but the rest of the movie wasn't.
There were funny parts and the ending was good but over all I wouldn't recommend this movie.
