Le Dernier Combat
Experience Luc Besson's dark vision of the future The Last Battle - a cult classic exploration of post-apocalyptic survival.
In a world populated with savages, living amongst the wreckage of a devastated civilization, one man wages war against brutality and isolation.
Filmed in black and white, and almost entirely without dialogue, Besson's first film presents in every detail a haunting premonition of a hostile tomorrow.

Thoughtful, and silent, post-apocalyptic film - Carrington
Le Dernier Combat (AKA The Last Battle) is a terrific film set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Although it's technically a French film, there isn't any dialogue so it's truly international. The lack of dialogue makes this a great example of "show, don't tell" filmmaking.
The film offers the genre's usual tropes of struggles against isolation and starvation, and fans of post-apocalyptic tales will not be disappointed by either the set pieces or the plot. Highly recommended.Very nice work - IvanLatysh
This movie is not for everyone, if you like to be entertained, you will not like it.
But if you want to open yourself for somebody else vision - this movie is for you.
Luc Besson view on after apocalyptic world doesn’t fit into any Hollywood standards, it is unique. He brought up the life matters not a survival struggle as most Hollywood movies does.
It is silent (no dialogs) movie.
