Things I liked:
1) The entire movie
2) We don't see too much of the creature. It is interesting and we see brief, split second shots.
3) Good dialogue.
4) A high quality beginning.
5) A neat plot
6) Lots of action -- "There is a creature on the loose. Let's attack with a chain saw."
7) Danger and narrow escapes.Mediocre B Movie. - cathyottawa
That borrows heavily from both Alien and The Thing.
A deep sea underwater mining crew comes across a sunken Russian ship named "Leviathan".
Inside they find a safe.
Despite having been underwater for God knows how long, the contents are perfectly dry. They find the personal effects of a seemingly large number of deceased crewmen. The cryptic final log of the captain on video (good thing the doctor speaks Russian!). And vodka, naturally.
What the heck happenned on Leviathan? What the heck is happenning to the mining crew?
The effects aren't great. The script isn't great. The acting isn't great. Nothing to write home about here.
