Look Who's Talking
Mollie is a single working mother who's out to find the perfect father for her child. Her baby, Mikey, prefers James, a cab driver turned babysitter who has what it takes to make them both happy. But Mollie won't even consider James. It's going to take all the tricks a baby can think of to bring them together before it's too late. Amy Heckerling wrote and directed this baby's-eye-view comedy.

A fun movie. If babies could talk they would say . . . - Filmaholic
This movie attempts to let us in on the internal thoughts of babies. It is funny at some points and entertaining.
I am not saying that it is the best movie you will ever see. Not by a long shot. It is however, very well done and well worth watching.
It is older; however, the acting is good and the thoughts shared are actually quite humorous.John Travolta's first come back - pinster
I remember liking this movie much more the first time I saw it. Of course I was about 16 years old at the time and maybe had lower expectations. I wouldn't say its bad - just not as good as I remember. The plot involves a woman (Kirstie Alley) who becomes pregnant by a married man whom she is having an affair with (George Segal). When she goes into labor, she needs help going to the hospital and John Travolta appears on the scene in a taxi cab. When the baby is born (and even before) we can here what he's thinking through the voice of Bruce Willis. This was a huge hit at the time and was considered a revival for John Travolta's career. It really is a segue from his earlier work in Grease and Saturday Night Fever, to his later work in Get Shorty and Pulp Fiction. He does a fantastic job of carrying the movie and Kirstie Alley is not nearly as irritating as she became in Cheers (where she whined her way through 5 years of shows). Bruce Willis' comments as the baby seem somewhat dated, but he was a huge star at the time. In all, the movie is fairly light, however there are a couple of scenes that take this into the older PG areas. While younger kids (5-9 years) will appreciate the humor with the kids, these other sections (including sperm swimming around to find an egg) may need to be explained... One last note, the supporting characters in this movie - especially Olympia Dukakis as Kirstie Alley's mother and Abe Vigoda as John Travolta's grand father, are fantastic. I would rate this as 3.5 stars, but don't have that option.Life that what it's all about. - movie_goer
Baby-licous! i enjoy this film about a mother (kristie Alley) thats been dumped by the father for another mistress. On the way to Delivery the cab driver is mistaken as the father (john travolta). so a week goes by and travolta meet up with Alley to check on the child he's become fond of, soon Travolta become his nanny. In exstange if he can use Alleys address for his grandfathers mail. It sounds weird but it really works for the story, the narrator is the baby. Which brings all the more hilarity to a meter of laughs and romantic encounters.
