Maximum Overdrive
Who Made Who?
When a mysterious comet passes close to Earth, machines everywhere suddenly take on murderous minds of their own. Soon, video games, cash machines, drawbridges, and steamrollers all go on a psychotic killing spree of global rebellion. But when the Dixie Boy Truck Stop is held hostage by a mob of homicidal 18-wheelers, human vengeance goes into overdrive. Who made who? And who will survive the final showdown of man vs. bloodthirsty machine?
Emilio Estevez stars in this outrageous, twisted metal epic that marked the directing debut of horror master Stephen King and features a headbanging score of classic hits and original music by AC/DC.

I think that this is one of Stephen Kings best movie he did and I personally think he couldn't do better even if he tried, and maybe that is why he went back to writing instead of movie making, just the though of having machines come to life and fight is exhilerating to watch. An 80s Classic - JuicyFruit
This is probably the only Stephen King movie that's actually good (ha)- he's a good writer, but pretty much every movie ever made of a King story has been pretty crappy- except Maximum Overdrive; machines going amok, trucks running guys down, pop machines shooting down a kid's baseball team, Emilio Estevez with a rocket launcher AND a soundtrack by AD/DC? COME ON- how can it be anything but awesome? It's totally 80s but that's a big part of its charm.all time favourite. - pavemaster
This is one of my all time favourite movies. A story were machines go bad is always good. This movie has a lot of action. Some funny scenes as well. Plus that big truck with the goblin on the front I always thought was pretty cool. If you like machines coming to life and killing people, then this is for you.
