I like Eddie Murphy he has made some good movies as well as some turkeys but this is one of his better movies. Micheal Wincott is fantastic as the villian here and plays his role to a T. Eddie has his usual tongue in cheek approach to his part and is superb. The story is strong and well done. The trolley chase scene is one of the best I have seen and the distruction is close to the opening scenes of the first Beverly Hill's Cop movie. The effects are top shelf. All in all a very good action flick with just the right amount of humoralmost serious flick - uncle36
I enjoyed this picture......at times it seems to drag on because of the characters attempts to "win back" the girl he lost....and there isn't as much humor as I have come to expect with an Eddie Murphy pic.....but it all ties in well with the characters surrounding the 'hero'.
