Michael
He's an Angel. Not a Saint.
Would-be ghosts. UFO voyagers. A chicken that pecks out Moonlight Sonata on the piano-blindfolded! They're the kind of stories that keep the National Mirror in the nation's shopping carts. And they're the kind of stories that make the tabloid's reporters think they've heard and seen it all. But that's before they meet Michael.
He may be a grubby party animal who knows his way around a dance floor, but Michael is very much an angel. And with John Travolta in the title role, Michael is very much a divine romantic comedy. Two reporters are sent to get an exclusive on the heavenly visitor. The journalists want a page-one scoop. But their subject has a far more joyous and life-affirming plan in mind.

Very Clever - LadyBugAbode
This is a very clever movie with a unique story line. I love John Travolta and William Hurt, so that certainly helped. They were both excellent, as usual. I'm not usually a big fan of Andie MacDowell's, but she did very well in this film. She wasn't quite as believable as the others, which is typically my opinion of her, so if you like her, that's probably not going to be an issue for you.
The story will have you curious right from the first few minutes and you'll be hooked. There are some very funny scenes, and an overall heartwarming story.Excellent movie.... - Blimey
I am not a hugs Travolta fan by any means but I must admit that I loved this movie and I highly recommend it for others. The whole family enjoyed it too. Travolta was superb! It's a feel good story that grips the viewer from the onset and continues to move along in a most engaging way. Of course the usual Travolta dance scene is absurd and funny. It made me love him for the first time - Jasaka
I never thought much of John Travolta one way or the other before this movie but I love this movie and decided once and for all John Travolta is a beautiful man. This movie is funny, sweet and everything you could want from a dramedy. I enjoyed all of the characters which made this movie a must see in my books. If you haven't, you really should.
