Miracle on 34th Street
In this new holiday "miracle" based on the famous 1947 film classic, a little girl discovers dreams can come true if you really believe. Six-year-old Susan has doubts about childhood's most enduring miracle - Santa Claus. Her mother told her the "secret" about Santa a long time ago, so Susan doesn't expect to receive the most important gifts on her Christmas list. But after meeting a special department store Santa who's convinced he's the real thing, Susan is given the most precious gift of all - something to believe in. Starring Richard Attenborough, Elizabeth Perkins, Dylan McDermott and Mara Wilson as Susan, this uplifting and joyous film will make believers out of the entire family.

Love this Christmas movie - the story is kept simple and traditional, just as you want it to be when watching it around Christmastime. Few modern stories about the value of Christmas have ever been worth rewatching again and again such as this (remake of a) classic! Mara Wilson was perfectly cast in the movie - her sparkling eyes will endear anyone.Almost as good - orange
This one is almost as good as the 1947 original movie. A few things are updated to fit modern times, but the basics of the story is the same. Tho A couple things just don't seem to work in this remake. The original movie is a classic. You must watch it before watching this one. Then you decide.
I own the original one and this one.A classic - BearCubs
This movie is an absolute holiday must-see classic. It is heartwarming, touching, and just a great story.
It's a great way to start the holiday season, as it always puts me in the right frame of mind for Christmas.
Though it is a little unrealistic at times (but what Christmas movie isn't?), the little girl does a wonderful job in her role, as does the lawyer and Santa.
It's a solid family movie, recommended to anyone who loves Christmas.
